We are looking for a Data Engineer to be part of our team that is working for clients in Europe. In this position, you will design, implement and support data pipelines working closely with teams in the EU, US, Brazil and other countries. You need advanced and/or fluent proficiency in English to communicate with these different teams and clients during the workday, HENCE PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR CV IN ENGLISH.
ObjectiveStrategically manage multidisciplinary teams to achieve the company's strategic objectives, ensuring high-quality program and process delivery and operational effectiveness. This role is vital for leading initiatives that drive growth, innovation, and business expansion within the organization.
Key Responsibilities / Main Activities
We are looking for someone who has:Solid experience in building Power BI reports (semantic models and dashboards).Solid experience in designing, building and testing data pipelines.Solid experience using Python for data (data gathering, cleaning, transformation, joining, reading and writing data frames using different formats).Solid experience on at least one ETL tool (e.g. Talend, Microsoft Integration Services, etc).Comfort learning new frameworks.Experience with CI/CD Pipelines (ideally in the context of deploying Power BI reports).Willingness to work with different technologies and learn every day.Ability to share your knowledge with more junior team members.
The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Develop, Support, Configure Power BI Models and Reports.Manage Power BI (access, data refresh, etc…).Develop, Support, troubleshoot and fix bugs on existing data pipelines (including performance tuning).Define, build and deliver high-quality data pipelines.Participate in the Data Validation process.Develop and Support CI/CD PipelinesDesign, construct, install, test and maintain data management systems.Ensure that all systems meet the business/company requirements as well as industry practices.Integrate up-and-coming data management and software engineering technologies into existing data structures.Recommend different ways to constantly improve data reliability and quality.Analyze and organize raw data.Build data-marts that will be consumed by data scientist’s analysis and data visualization tools
We expect candidates to have knowledge in some, but not necessarily all fields below:Knowledge on using Snowflake as a DataWahouse.Knowledge of non-functional requirements (performance, security, privacy, GDPR and etc).Knowledge of unit, integration and E2E testing.Knowledge of using python or other scripting languages to automate day to day tasks.Knowledge on different SQL and No SQL databases.
