WHAT YOU’LL DO:  

Role:  

We are seeking a talented Master Data Specialist (Co-op) to join our Supply Chain team. We are looking for someone with strong organizational skills and a love of data who is self-motivated to drive improvements. This role will report to Director, Strategic Sourcing and will be integral to drive master data best practice and Supply Chain performance in the pursuit of CoolIT Systems strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:  

• Support SCM master data management including cleansing, gap analysis, archive, etc.  
• Master data scope - vendor and materials    
• Facilitate compliance documentation as a part of master data, for example: PPAP, REACH  
• Coordinator for purchase order handover between Supply Chain functional teams   
• Stewart of the approved vendor list, including process management, document management, governance, etc.   
• Support the documentation of work processes and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures)  
• Assist in the management of continuous improvement opportunities      

WHO YOU ARE:  

Basic Qualifications:  

• 3rd or 4th year Supply Chain or Business Degree student  
• Experience in data management, analytics using multiple systems  
• Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.  
• High proficiency in Excel (e.g. formulas, pivot tables) and Power BI  

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Experience with ERP (e.g. NetSuite, SAP)  
• Previous experience in manufacturing or a materials-based environment  

Skills:

• Simplify complex topics  
• Comfortable consolidating data from various sources   
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work with professionals of various backgrounds  
• Strong English proficiency   
• Influence without authority   
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 
• Self-motivated and able to work within an interdisciplinary team
