A solution architect and manager of managers with great visibility, accountable for getting people to deliver high-value solutions to drive growth.

How will you make an impact with us? 

• Responsible for delivering a Data Engineering capability that delivers complex data products to support company intelligence of game systems and features and operational systems. 

• Help the Data and Analytics function deliver a series of high-value and impactful solutions across a wide array of data functions (data capture, data ingestion, data architecture, data curation, and delivery to production).  

• Build a top performing data engineering function that excels in effective communication, prioritisation, streamlined operations, and best-in-class data product generation. 

• Continuously review processes, ways of working, and documentation standards to ensure scalability of data services, satisfaction across a wide-range of senior stakeholder groups, and expedited analytics and insights delivery.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their needs and preferences, and designing solution architectures and delivery plans that cover all functional and nonfunctional requirements.  Provide technical guidance for product and management.  

• Build a culture and inculcate ways of working that ensure best-practices are followed while delivering at pace through a motivated and eager workforce.

• Help divergent stakeholders prioritise key initiatives and track their progress in the organisation’s roadmap.  

This is the right job for you if you have:

• 10+ years of experience creating solution architectures that span the end-to-end data workflows, sometimes involving Advanced Analytics solutions including AI/MLOps. 

• 6+ years of proven track record managing data engineering teams to drive business results through use of data - deep understanding of data technologies, infrastructures, automation techniques, data capture and data delivery mechanisms, data modelling best practices, etc..

• Strong negotiation skills centred on Value articulation, quantification of ROI, and the ability to provide recommendations and identify risks.

• Leadership prowess with an eye on designing and implementing individual development programs that help drive team motivation and performance.

• Advanced knowledge of key technologies and systems that are used by data engineering teams.

• Experience in creation of delivery plans and managing roadmaps and stakeholder expectations.
