You’ll become part of the Digital Premises team, a close-knit group of 7 people including data engineers, analysts, business analysts, IT application specialists, and our manager. We’re located centrally in Copenhagen, in the vibrant Postbyen area, just minutes away from Copenhagen Central Station. Our work environment is characterized by autonomy, collaboration, and a strong sense of responsibility, enabling every team member to have a significant impact.

What you’ll do

As one of two Data Engineers on the team, you’ll have end-to-end responsibility for developing and maintaining our data platform, integrating multiple source systems through APIs, SFTP servers, databases, and potentially other sources. Your primary tools will be Python and SQL, which you’ll use daily to build robust, scalable, and innovative solutions.

Your tasks will include:

• Developing and optimizing data pipelines and integrations.
• Ensuring reliability, scalability, and quality of our data platform.
• Collaborating closely with analysts and stakeholders to ensure data availability and accessibility.
• Proactively researching, evaluating, and implementing new technologies and methodologies, particularly within cloud environments (on-prem and AWS).
• Documenting solutions clearly and efficiently to facilitate team collaboration.

Who we are looking for

We seek a curious, proactive, and motivated individual who enjoys deep diving into complex data problems and thrives in a role that combines independent work with team collaboration.

Ideally, you have:

• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience working with databases and data integration.
• Exposure to or knowledge of data modeling.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS is a plus but not required).
• An agile mindset, experience with Jira (or similar), and comfort with documentation tools like Confluence.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach.
• Comfort in taking ownership and working autonomously while enjoying teamwork and collaboration.
