The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly analytical and results-oriented Director of Analytics to lead our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sophisticated analytical solutions to drive key business objectives. You will leverage data to uncover insights, identify trends, and measure the impact of our initiatives across various departments.


Location

This is a hybrid position based out of New York.


What you’ll do:

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of data analysts.
  • Foster a data-driven culture within the organization.
  • Define clear goals, objectives, and performance metrics for the analytics team.
  • Design and implement advanced analytical models, including predictive modeling and statistical analysis.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Translate complex data into clear and concise reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Partner with business leaders across departments to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve business performance, optimize operations, and increase revenue.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in analytics.
  • Explore and implement new technologies and methodologies to improve data analysis capabilities.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the organization.
  • Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures.

What you bring:

  • Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in a data-driven role, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership position.
  • Strong proficiency in statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, time series analysis).
  • Expertise in data warehousing, and data visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. 
  • Results-oriented with a strong work ethic.

Base Salary

The base salary range is between $170,000 - $200,000 annually.

Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise, location and current market data and may vary from the range above.
