Power BI and Data Analyst

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Power BI and Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Power BI, SQL, Azure Data Factory, and strong experience in data science and analytics, with a focus on interpreting and analyzing complex datasets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Power BI Development & Reporting:
    • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
    • Utilize DAX to create complex formulas and metrics for data analysis.
    • Design and implement paginated reports for high-volume reporting.
    • Work with Power Query to transform, clean, and load data into Power BI.
    • Configure and manage Power BI Gateway connections and ensure seamless data refreshes.
    • Leverage Premium Capacity for optimized report performance and scalability.
  • SQL and Data Management:
    • Design, develop, and manage SQL queries and scripts for reporting and analysis.
    • Work with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio) for database management and optimization.
    • Utilize SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
  • Azure Data Factory:
    • Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory to integrate data from SQL, APIs, and other data sources.
    • Implement ETL workflows to ensure data consistency, integrity, and quality.
  • Data Science & Data Analytics:
    • Design data architectures that meet business requirements.
    • Normalize, analyze, and present complex datasets to stakeholders.
    • Interpret and present data insights in a clear and actionable manner.
    • Support data-driven decision-making by providing analysis and recommendations.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with Power BI (including DAX, Power Query, and paginated reporting).
  • Strong expertise in SQL, including SSMS and SSIS.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory for ETL processes and data pipeline management.
  • Knowledge of data science techniques, data architecture, and data normalization.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze large, complex datasets.
  • Experience working in an agile environment is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills to present data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Advanced level of English (written and spoken) is required.

Preferred:

  • Experience with additional data visualization tools.
  • Understanding of cloud-based data storage solutions.
  • Knowledge of data security and governance best practices.
