Job DetailsJob Summary:
Customer Data Visualization Specialist are involved in all aspects of development, including designing, coding, testing, implementing and support. Responsibilities beyond development of software may include participation in component and data architecture design, technology planning, product evaluation, and innovation. The Customer Data Visualization Specialist must be able to adjust to constant business change. Common types of changes include introduction of new organizations through mergers and acquisitions, evolving goals and strategies and emerging technologies.
Responsibilities Include:
This role will also provide client support, consultation and subject matter expertise for system development, maintenance and support.
Ability to quickly learn new technical environments and have the ability to translate that knowledge to both business and technical teams.
Work with data from our CRM, SAP and EAP systems. SQL and scripting languages such as Python are required and general understanding of data structures.
Collect customer requirements and create technical specifications.
Configure the Medallia platform.
Provide data and insights from our EAP + CRM + SAP systems.
Provide support in client meetings by leveraging in-depth knowledge of Medallia’s platform capabilities as well as backend internal data.
Work with cross functional teams to create data requirements
Build and support charts, graphs and other visualization efforts within our Medallia system
Become SME on our platform data and product vision
Educational and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in quantitative/analytical degree, such as engineering, computer science, statistics, or economics.
Minimum of three (3) years directly related and progressively responsible experience with a focus in one or more of the following business areas: Finance, Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Legal or Human Resources; general technical experience required.
Experience with PowerBi – highly desired
Exposure to common web technologies, such as Python, SQL, JavaScript, XML, HTML, and CSS, and integration technologies/protocols (APIs, REST, HTTP, SFTP, etc.).
Understanding of common security concepts and standards (SSO, SAML, OAuth, RBAC, etc.).
Quick learner and great problem-solver.
Ability to work independently on low to medium complexity assignments.
Passion for helping customers; both internal and external.
Ability to build relationships and effectively communicate with client stakeholders.
Ability to understand, synthesize, and translate between business problems and technical concepts.
Growth-minded; desire for continuous learning and proactively driving initiatives for improvement.
