Job Description:

 

We are seeking a Data Strategy and Governance Consultant to lead and deliver data strategy and data governance engagements for our clients. These engagements serve as the cornerstone of our advisory services, requiring a strategic mindset, deep technical acumen, and strong facilitation skills. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in data and analytics consulting, a strong executive presence, and the ability to guide organizations in defining and executing transformative data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Data Strategy & Governance Engagements: Drive client engagements focused on developing and implementing enterprise data strategies and governance frameworks.
  • Executive-Level Facilitation & Advisory: Collaborate with C-suite and senior executives to align data initiatives with business goals, ensuring strategic buy-in.
  • Workshop Design & Facilitation: Design and lead structured workshops to assess data maturity, define future-state visions, and develop actionable roadmaps.
  • Consultative Problem Solving: Analyze client data ecosystems, identify pain points, and recommend solutions to improve data management, governance, and analytics capabilities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with client stakeholders across IT, finance, operations, and other business functions to drive alignment on data initiatives.
  • Industry Best Practices & Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of industry trends and contribute to the firm’s thought leadership on data strategy and governance.
  • Engagement Execution & Delivery Excellence: Ensure high-quality execution of engagements, meeting project timelines, client expectations, and firm methodologies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in data & analytics, with a strong focus on strategy, governance, and executive-level advisory.
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Prior consulting experience with a track record of delivering high-impact data transformation initiatives.
  • Deep expertise in data strategy, governance, and analytics including frameworks, operating models, and technology considerations.
  • Strong workshop facilitation skills, with experience designing and leading interactive sessions with executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to articulate complex data concepts in business terms and drive organizational change through strategic data initiatives.
  • Proven ability to work with executive leaders, advising on data-driven decision-making and enterprise data management strategies.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client management skills.
  • Familiarity with data governance tools, cloud platforms, and modern data architectures is a plus.
