Your Team Responsibilities

The Instrument Data Management (IDM)  organization is responsible for providing data content and services for MSCI tools that fuels investment decisions. Our services focus on working with index and analytics teams on the production and development of input data used for product generation. In addition, we provide support to our sales team, consultants and client relations teams with client inquiries on content.

Your Key Responsibilities

Your internship begins with an MSCI Orientation which gives you a perfect foundation for the weeks ahead as you learn about our culture, values, and business model. Your learning continues ‘on-the-desk’ as you work through live projects and gain first-hand experience of how all teams at MSCI play a role in creating solutions for our clients. You will have a network of talented and approachable colleagues who will support you through every stage of the program.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  • Enrolled in an undergraduate qualification in a relevant degree subject, e.g., business, economics, finance (6th semester or above)
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Intellectual curiosity and a passion for excellence
  • Navigate hurdles with entrepreneurial spirit to develop new business
  • High attention to detail and good team player
  • Strong analytical, data driven and problem-solving skills, ability to break down complex issues
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and work under time constraints
  • Python SQL knowledge desired
  • Advance English level
  • Aiming to graduate in Summer 2026 desired
