We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data warehouse infrastructure while creating robust reporting and dashboard solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, ETL processes, and data visualization tools, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and optimal performance.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Data Warehouse Development

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data warehouse solutions to support business intelligence and analytics.
• Ensure the data warehouse architecture aligns with business requirements.

ETL & Data Integration

• Develop and manage ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources.
• Integrate structured and unstructured data while ensuring consistency, accuracy, and reliability.

Reporting & Dashboards

• Create and maintain interactive reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to develop insightful data visualizations.

Data Quality & Performance Optimization

• Implement data validation and quality checks to ensure high data integrity.
• Optimize data warehouse performance through indexing, partitioning, and query tuning.

Collaboration & Documentation

• Partner with data analysts, data scientists, and business teams to understand data needs and deliver effective solutions.
• Maintain clear documentation for data models, ETL workflows, and warehouse architecture.

Security & Compliance

• Ensure data security and compliance with governance policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

• 3-7 years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
• Proven experience in data warehousing concepts and ETL process management.
• Strong expertise in SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala for data processing.
• Expertise in SQL and database design.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and their data services.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Redshift, or equivalent data warehouse tools.
• Prior experience in the financial services sector (Banking, NBFC, or Fintech).
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
• Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
• Data engineering certifications from recognized institutions.
