North America (NA) Integrated Fulfillment Planning (IFP) is hiring a Senior, Supply Chain Business Analyst to join the Omnichannel Forecasting & Fulfillment Planning (F&P) team! NA IFP sits within Marketplace Supply Chain (MSC) and supports the Omnichannel MSC teams as well as Logistics within North America Supply Chain (NASC). The Senior, Supply Chain Business Analyst is a self-starter, creative problem solver and leads change with data derived insights. They will take on and lead strategic business initiatives defined in the IFP team’s Objectives and Key Results (OKR) framework and work cross-functionally, with peers and senior leaders, to accomplish business goals. The candidate should have an advanced technical skillset for querying enterprise data, developing complex data workflows and visualizing the business insights discovered on the journey. They should enjoy working with data scientists, business analysts, process analysts and senior business leaders, while being comfortable and adept at presenting information to various audiences, explaining business concepts to technical audiences as well as complex analytics to non-technical audiences. The Senior, Supply Chain Business Analyst will bring a continuous improvement mindset anchored in efficiency and standardized ways of working to elevate performance. Top candidates will have a bias for speedy action, sharp attention to detail and an ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple manner.
What You Will Work On
As the Senior, Supply Chain Business Analyst for North America Supply Chain, you will support the creation of a rolling 5 (R5) month Ops Forecast through the monthly Ship Goals cycle, enabling the NA DC Network to meet operational and financial targets. In this highly visible role, you will also lead strategic initiatives to enhance supply chain performance metrics, supporting MSC & Logistics leadership to achieve financial, operational, and service goals. You will conduct ad-hoc analyses with quick turnaround for immediate business actions, develop data-driven tools for current processes, recommend business and process improvements, identify future business requirements and lead the adoption of advanced analytics methodologies within IFP.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and execute the monthly omnichannel forecasting cycle, consisting of a rolling 5-month forecast view, identifying operational risks and opportunities
- Enhance the Omnichannel Ops Forecast process using your technical skills to develop tools and reports that contain more accurate business logic, consistent data and better visibility to inventory supply and demand across the supply chain for all marketplace channels
- Improve Omnichannel forecasting capabilities, forecast accuracy and forecast volatility through hindsight analysis, collaboration with advanced analytics teams and mentorship of peers responsible for generating forecasts for individual channels
- Resolve ambiguous business questions and requests through a well thought out analytical approach (including analysis of large and complex datasets), while examining all possible scenarios to deliver an actionable solution
- Articulate and story tell solutions through varied channels of reporting, including dashboards, reports and creative PowerPoint presentations
- Create dashboards by integrating data from various enterprise sources while ensuring data accuracy to create a single source of truth
- Cultivate and sustain relationships with stakeholders across the organization, including business leaders (Marketplace Directors, DC GM, DC AGM, DC Planning Directors), operations teams, and technology partners
- Lead analysis that informs business strategy including root cause analysis to identify improvements and solution implementation
Who You Will Work With
As a member of Nike’s North America Integrated Fulfillment Planning (IFP) team, you will work alongside experienced analytics and supply chain professionals passionate about driving operational efficiency, growing our business and better serving athletes*. You will be part of the Omnichannel Forecasting & Fulfillment Planning (F&P) team that works closely with functional teams in North America Supply Chain which includes but are not limited to Marketplace Supply Chain Channels (NMP, Digital, NVS, NSO, Value, Sports Marketing), North America Logistics (DC Operations, DC Planning, Transportation), Insights Data Science & Analytics (IDSA), Finance and Supply & Inventory Planning (S&IP). You will be on a team of highly functioning supply chain professionals that must collaborate to understand business problems and develop novel analytical approaches to solve them.
Qualifications
Required
- Advanced experience (3-5 years) querying and analyzing data in enterprise data environments such as Databricks, Snowflake, Teradata and/or SQL Server. Candidate should have experience writing code in both SQL and Python or other coding languages
- Strong understanding (2-4 years) of working with relational databases in SQL or any coding language
- Advanced experience (3-5 years) developing and augmenting data workflows utilizing Alteryx and/or Databricks
- Beginner to intermediate experience (1-3 years) developing interactive visualizations in Tableau utilizing data visualization industry best-practices to succinctly display insights
- 4+ years of experience in Supply Chain and/or relevant industries with an emphasis on root-cause analysis and insights & analytics
- Strong experience (2-3 years) in forecasting, scenario planning and agile methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify areas for improvement
- Skilled in analyzing large datasets to uncover business insights and presenting cohesive stories using PowerPoint and Tableau while delivering user-friendly datasets in Excel, ThoughtSpot Liveboards, and Snowflake Objects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at different levels of leadership within the organization
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand Nike's business strategy and identify opportunities for process improvements that support strategic objectives
- Ability to translate business needs to technical requirements and vice versa
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to identify and mitigate risks associated with process changes
Preferred
- Master's degree Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or Industrial Engineering
- Relevant industry experience (Supply Chain, Sales & Operations Planning / Integrated Business Planning) with large scale companies
- 5+ years of experience in data modeling, forecasting, and business analysis
- 2+ years of working experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies
- Advanced experience (3-5 years) developing interactive visualizations in Tableau utilizing data visualization industry best-practices to succinctly display insights
