Your New Role

We are looking for a strategic and analytical Director of Pricing to lead the development, implementation, and management of pricing and bundling strategies across our portfolio of digital, mobile, and subscription products. This role will play a critical part in maximizing revenue, profitability, and market share while ensuring that pricing structures align with customer needs.

As a key cross-functional leader, the Director of Pricing will work closely with Product Marketing, Strategy & Operations, Product, and Data Insights teams to develop and execute data-driven pricing strategies across all consumer touchpoints. The ideal candidate is an innovative thinker with experience in dynamic pricing, bundling, and revenue optimization within a direct-to-consumer (DTC) business.

Your Role Responsibilities:

•    Pricing & Bundling Strategy: Develop, implement, and manage pricing models and bundling strategies that optimize customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value (LTV).
•    Team Leadership: Build and lead a small but highly skilled pricing team focused on pricing optimization, bundling innovation, and revenue strategy.
•    Performance Measurement: Lead the development of dynamic pricing models that effectively capture and track pricing and promotional performance across all transaction touchpoints.
•    Data-Driven Decision-Making: Work closely with Data & Insights teams to establish standardized measurement frameworks for pricing effectiveness, A/B testing, and revenue impact analysis.
•    Customer-Centric Approach: Collaborate with UX Research to integrate willingness-to-pay insights into pricing strategies, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market demand.
•    Product Monetization: Partner with Product teams to inform and guide monetization strategies for new products and features, ensuring pricing maximizes adoption and revenue.
•    Market Compliance & Transparency: Ensure that the way CNN handles all pricing structures comply with WBD standards and market regulations, maintaining fairness and transparency in pricing practices.
•    Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as a key partner to Growth Marketing, Product Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure pricing strategies support overall business growth objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

•    8+ years of experience in pricing strategy, revenue optimization, or monetization, preferably in a digital, mobile, or subscription-based business.
•    Strong background in dynamic pricing, A/B testing, and customer segmentation.
•    Experience working with data science, analytics, and UX research teams to develop pricing insights.
•    Proven track record of leading pricing initiatives that drive revenue growth and improve customer LTV.
•    Ability to analyze market trends, competitive pricing models, and consumer behavior to inform pricing decisions.
•    Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to build, mentor, and scale a high-performing team.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in tools such as Excel, Python, or BI platforms (e.g., Tableau).
•    Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $110,320.00 - $204,880.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
