Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Front-End BI Developer to design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualization solutions using Tableau, Power BI, React, and other front-end tools. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of data analytics, UI/UX principles, and business intelligence reporting to create engaging and insightful reports for business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• As a BI developer , you will drive central BI projects for Bosch mobility electronics division using Waterfall and Agile project methodologies
• Evaluate BI requirements , propose right visualization tool & develop dashboards
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau, Power BI, and other BI tools.
• Build dynamic and responsive web-based BI applications using React.js and other front-end technologies.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and visualization needs.
• Connect BI tools to various data sources (SQL databases, APIs, cloud platforms, Hadoop, Flat files etc.) and ensure seamless data integration.
• Implement custom visualizations and extensions in Tableau and Power BI when needed.
• Collaborate with data engineers and backend developers to ensure efficient data pipelines and integrations.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and accessibility best practices.
• Troubleshoot and optimize BI applications for better performance and user experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau & Power BI
• Strong UI/UX design knowledge for BI applications.
• Understanding of databases, data modeling, and SQL.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, SQL and CSS (for embedded analytics and custom BI solutions).
• Solid understanding of data visualization principles and best practices to create meaningful visualizations
• Hands-on experience with Tableau Prep, Power Query, or ETL tools is a plus.
• Experience integrating BI dashboards with cloud platforms (Hadoop & Azure) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors or master’s degree in information science /computer sciences/ electronics and communication.
• Personality: Ability to drive the full scope of an IT project, good teamwork, ability to work in international teams, excellent communication skills
• Work Experience: Minimum 3 years hands-on managing Data-warehouse, ETL and Visualization Projects
• Certification in Tableau, Power BI, or any BI tool is a plus.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices in BI development.
• Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and big data technologies.
