Overview:
Engineering is responsible for managing or performing work across multiple areas of the Bank's overall IT Platform/Infrastructure including analysis, development, and administration. It may also involve taking functional oversight of engineering delivery for specific departments. Work includes
Planning and developing entire engineering solutions to accomplish business goals, building reliability and resiliency into solutions with appropriate testing and reviewing throughout the delivery lifecycle
Ensuring maintainability and reusability of engineering solutions
Ensuring solutions are well architected and can be integrated successfully into the end-to-end business process flow
Reviewing engineering plans and quality to drive re-use and improve engineering capability
Participating in industry forums to drive adoption of innovative technologies, tools and solutions in the Bank

What You’ll Do
Participate in the deployment of ML models to production environments, utilizing tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
Assist in building and maintaining ML pipelines for automated model training, evaluation, and deployment
Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable and reliable ML infrastructure
Assist in the development and implementation of machine learning models using various algorithms and techniques (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, deep learning)
Contribute to feature engineering, data preprocessing, and model selection processes and experiment with different model architectures and hyperparameters to optimize performance
Skills to Help you Excel
Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Moderate experience with large datasets, ensuring data quality, consistency, and integrity
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
Skills You’ll Need
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
Moderate experience in a relevant role (e.g., AI/ML Engineer, Data Scientist, Software Engineer with ML focus)
Proficiency in Python. Familiarity with other languages (e.g., Java, Scala, R) is a plus ; Experience with popular ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or similar and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL) and NoSQL databases
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their ML services.
Experience with data processing tools and libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Spark, or Dask ; Familiarity with DevOps principles and tools for continuous integration/continuous deployment containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes). Proficient with Git and related version control workflows
Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model. Deutsche Bank provides reasonable accommodations to candidates and employees with a substantiated need based on disability and/or religion.
The salary range for this position in New York City is $70,000.00 to $102,500. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
