Senior Data Engineer Architect - VP

The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable data pipelines using PL/SQL, T-SQL, NoSQL databases, and Python.
• Optimize database queries for performance and efficiency across various database platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain data quality frameworks and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Contribute to the architecture and design of our data warehouse and data lake environments.
• Mentor junior data engineers and contribute to the overall growth of the data engineering team.
• Effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Deliver impactful presentations on data-related topics to various stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• 14+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in PL/SQL, T-SQL, NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, Elastic), and Python.
• Extensive experience with database query optimization and performance tuning.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts and techniques.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong proficiency in ETL
• Exp. with external cloud like AWS and GCP will be +
• Can handle high volume data

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master’s degree preferred
