Job Description

Consultants for New York, NY., In client facing role, independently develop and evaluate statistical analytical products working on multiple projects with large team. Assist supervisor to lead analytic client engagements. Take ownership of project aspects. Identify new insights, translate findings and make complex ideas simple to understand, translate into measurable actions. Analyze and develop statistical models for clients, contribute to projects and develop predictive, descriptive and prescriptive statistical analysis. Review model result validation data and create insightful client friendly reports. Analyze large statistical data sets to generate deep insights. Ensure rigorous quality control and detect anomalies in the model with ongoing new data streams. Make presentations to clients. Mentor junior analysts. Technical Environment: R, SQL, Excel, Python, statistical modeling (marketing mix, multi-touch attribution, multivariate regression, logistic regression, choice model, time-series, panel data model, Bayesian, segmentation, ridge regression, structural equations, probability theory, clustering algorithms); marketing metrics & tracking; machine learning; data mining; simulation, optimization, forecasting, ROI analysis; data analytics.

Requirements:

 *Master’s degree in Statistics or Mathematics or Operations Research or Data Mining or Analytics or related Quantitative Field plus 2 years of experience with Quantitative Data/Statistical Analysis required. Skills Required: Experience in client facing role & with multiple projects with large team; data analytics, statistical modeling (marketing mix, multi-touch attribution, multivariate regression, time-series, Bayesian, segmentation); marketing metrics & tracking; machine learning; data mining; simulation, optimization, forecasting, ROI analysis; SQL, R, Python. Some telecommuting permitted. *(Bachelor’s degree in Statistics or Mathematics or Operations Research or Data Mining or Analytics or related Quantitative Field plus 5 years of progressive experience with Quantitative Data/Statistical Analysis also acceptable.)

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $112,953 - $131,250/yr. annually. Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan. Certain positions may also be eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
