Business Intelligence Developer and Data Visualization Specialist

Key Role:

Lead in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of Business Intelligence applications. Provide end-user support for the implementation and usage of business intelligence systems. Apply advanced consulting and extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience with data analytics, business intelligence (BI), dashboards, and reporting

• Experience with QuickSight or Envision by Palantir

• Experience with SQL and Cloud-based BI

• Experience with DoD Information Technology and Business Intelligence

• Experience with BI platform administration and multiple BI tool platforms

• Knowledge of data visualization principles and best practices

• Ability to develop interactive dashboards and reports and present complex data in a clear and concise manner

• Ability to write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation

• Bachelor's degree

• Comp TIA Security + Certification

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with data analysis

• Experience with Python, or R and data analysis tasks

• Knowledge of databases

• Knowledge of statistical concepts and methods

• Knowledge of programming languages

• Knowledge of Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes

• Ability to analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
