Job Description

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for test automation and a knack for leading technical teams? Join our dynamic team at Group Functions, Change & Technology Services as a Technical Test Lead in Test Automation. You'll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining a scalable, robust, and efficient test automation framework that drives our organisation's success.

    What you'll be doing:

    • Leading the creation, design, and implementation of scalable test automation frameworks
    • Providing expert guidance on testing tools, automation frameworks, and methodologies
    • Developing and maintaining a test automation framework using Selenium, TestNG, and Cucumber BDD
    • Driving future enhancements with Playwright and AI-driven testing tools
    • Establishing robust API testing methodologies using tools like Postman and REST APIs
    • Collaborating with Portfolio Test Managers to align automation deliverables with project goals
    • Championing continuous process improvement and exploring new tools and technologies
    • Mentoring and guiding team members, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing

    Qualifications

    Who we're looking for:

    • Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, computing science, data science) or equivalent experience
    • Experience in dealing with high volumes of data with excellent attention to detail
    • Knowledge of a wide variety of machine learning techniques
    • Proficiency in coding languages for data manipulation (e.g., SQL) and machine learning model development (e.g., Python, R)
    • Experience with dashboarding tools such as Power BI and Tableau (beneficial but not essential)
    • Experience with cloud native tooling for Azure and AWS (beneficial but not essential)
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
