We're looking for a Manager, Risk Analytics to lead a team of analysts focused on optimizing risk operations through data-driven insights. This team plays a critical role in supporting the strategy, analytics, and day-to-day operations of fraud prevention, minimizing financial loss due to chargebacks, and other risk-related workflows. In this role, you’ll leverage data and analytics to enhance fraud management processes, improve operational efficiency, and drive strategic decision-making. Your work will directly impact how we detect, mitigate, and manage risk across our DFS, Sportsbook, and Casino verticals. Through cross-functional collaboration and analytical problem-solving, you will help streamline risk operations and enable smarter, faster decisions across the organization.

 

What you’ll do as a Manager, Risk Analytics

  • Lead a small team of analysts responsible for driving insights and analytics to optimize risk operations. This includes evaluating fraud prevention workflows, chargeback trends, and other operational risk processes.

  • React real-time to various threats to the business by evaluating alerts, identifying patterns, and developing data-driven response strategies.

  • Build and maintain reporting suites that provide visibility into key risk operations metrics, inform strategic decision-making, and support continuous process improvements.

  • Develop clear, data-driven communications to align stakeholders and provide actionable insights that support risk mitigation strategies.

  • Work cross-functionally with risk operations, product, engineering, and data science to analyze and highlight important customer behaviors.

  • Work in a hybrid capacity, balancing leadership responsibilities with individual contributor work, including hands-on data analysis and reporting.

 

What you’ll bring

    • At least 6 years of analytics or data science experience and 2 years in risk analytics and managing a team of analysts.

    • Ability to take complicated problems and data views, build simple frameworks, and present them to cross-functional audiences and senior leadership.

    • Expertise in SQL/Snowflake and Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.

    • Proficiency in Tableau or similar data visualization tools.

    • Experience with Python, R, or statistical programming languages is a plus.

    • Knowledge of statistics and hypothesis testing. Model building experience is a plus.

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or another relevant discipline.

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is 126,000.00 USD - 157,500.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The compensation information displayed on each job posting reflects the range for new hire pay rates for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
