Job Description

You are an experienced PMIS Specialist with 5+ years of post-graduate experience looking for the next step or are currently undertaking a similar role in a similar environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support with the assessment of client environments and their current challenges utilizing a structured approach to discover, development and delivery of a digital solution that is fit for purpose and enables the client to achieve desired outcomes and associated benefits;
  • Produce design documents and technical specifications, including functional and non-functional solution requirements and end-to-end data processes;
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and promote these throughout our teams while also inspiring others through commitment and enthusiasm;
  • Collaborate effectively with all levels of internal and client stakeholders;
  • Manage system configurations, customizations, and updates to optimize the client solution;
  • Support translating client data and digital strategy into clear action plans that make a tangible difference and leading performance improvement initiatives;
  • Support on development of small-scale applications which can be deployed to clients, or for internal use.

Desirable skills and experience:

  • A strong background in the delivery of digital transformation and associated consultancy projects in a relevant sector such as; but not limited to, real estate, transport, utilities, power generation, manufacturing, defense or central government;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Enthusiastic, ability to work autonomously and strong problem-solving skills;
  • Experience in Data and Digital roles; Data Analyst, Digital Consultant, Data Scientist, Data Engineer, Digital Architect, Technology Specialist, System Developer, or equivalent;
  • Strong understanding of the architecture, engineering, and construction industry, including project life cycles, construction processes, and related information management requirements is an asset;
  • Understanding and experience of the following topics in a delivery or consulting context is required:
    • Experience implementing and managing Oracle PMIS (Program / Project Management Information Systems) such as Aconex and Unifier, etc.
    • Experience implementing and managing Program Controls platforms such as those that manage cost, risk, schedule, quality, health and safety, etc.
    • Working experience in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), or equivalent. 
    • Experience interfacing PMIS with ERP (SAP, Oracle Fusion, etc.)
    • Working experience in cloud platform such as Azure, AWS, GCP etc.
    • Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-a-Service, Platform-as-a-Service and Software-as-a-Service.
    • Experience in unit testing, integration testing, system testing and user acceptance testing.
    • Business analysis methods and models
    • Digital strategy and transformation principles.
    • Experience in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL.
    • Data strategy including data architecture, modelling, governance, and literacy.
  • Understanding and experience of any of the following topics in a delivery or consulting context is valuable:
    • Experience in extracting, integrating, and querying large datasets from multiple sources.
    • Experience in setting up and maintaining automated management information and analytics solutions.
    • Familiarity in Building Information Modelling (BIM) and the ISO 19650 suite of document.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • A degree in one of the following: Computer/ Data Science, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Commerce, Engineering, or equivalent
  • A minimum of 5 years' professional experience in one of the following fields: management consulting, business management, software development, project management or information technology

A minimum of 3 years' experience in a system implementation role (preferably Oracle Unifier)
