POSITION
Allspring is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Data Operations Analyst to lead and optimize our investment data operations. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of our investment data, while also driving process improvements.
We currently operate in a hybrid working model, whereby you will be required to work in-office 3 days a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data Quality Leadership:
- Develop and implement comprehensive data quality frameworks, standards, and procedures across all investment data domains.
- Oversee data quality monitoring and validation processes, ensuring timely identification and resolution of data discrepancies.
- Lead root cause analysis of data issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Establish and track key data quality metrics, reporting on data quality performance to senior management.
- Data Operations Optimization:
- Analyze existing data operations workflows and identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements, and risk mitigation.
- Implement process improvements and best practices to streamline data acquisition, processing, and distribution.
- Evaluate and recommend new data management tools and technologies to enhance operational efficiency and data quality.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including portfolio managers, traders, risk managers, and technology teams, to understand their data needs and ensure data quality meets their requirements.
- Partner with teams to ensure adherence to data policies and standards.
- Investment Data Expertise:
- Maintain a deep understanding of investment data domains, including market data, security master data, portfolio holdings, transactions, and performance data.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to investment data management.
CANDIDATE
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Data Operations Analyst with a proven track record in the investment management industry to lead and optimize our data quality and operational efficiency. This individual should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, advanced data manipulation expertise, and a deep understanding of investment data domains and workflows.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in a data operations or data analysis role within the investment management industry.
- Proven track record of leading and mentoring teams.
- Strong understanding of financial instruments, investment management workflows, and data governance principles.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and data manipulation tools (e.g., Python, R).
- Experience with data quality tools, data lineage tracking, and metadata management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under pressure.
Base Pay Range: $160,000 - $190,000
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary bonus programs, or other annual or non-annual incentive or sales plans.)
