You will directly impact cross-functional teams by enabling efficient data flow and empowering advanced analytics and product innovation. Success in this role means delivering measurable improvements to system performance, scalability, and business insight delivery.

Employee Value Proposition

You’ll play a pivotal role in the digital transformation of our tech stack and data platform. In this position, you’ll not only shape the future of how data powers our products — you’ll mentor others, solve real business challenges, and leave a lasting impact across the organization.

Key Performance Objectives

  1. Deliver Scalable Data Infrastructure
  • Architect and deploy high-performing data solutions that increase throughput and reliability of data delivery for internal consumers.
  1. Lead Data Platform Migrations
  • Support the successful migration of critical data services to modern cloud-based platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, or Databricks), ensuring zero data loss and minimal downtime.
  1. Drive Cross-Team Data Enablement
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Analytics to deliver new end-to-end data products or reporting solutions per quarter that directly support business decision-making.
  • Consistently resolve complex data issues and reduce backlog tickets related to pipeline failures and data quality within defined SLAs.
  1. Mentor and Uplift Team Performance

Provide hands-on mentorship to junior engineers, resulting in measurable improvements in code quality, design thinking, and operational ownership.

Responsibilities and Deliverable

  • Design, build, and maintain robust, secure, and scalable data pipelines and systems.
  • Assemble and curate large datasets to meet functional and non-functional business requirements.
  • Perform advanced data modeling, architecture design, and performance tuning.
  • Develop infrastructure to support real-time and batch processing workflows.
  • Optimize database performance and write advanced SQL queries for reporting and applications.
  • Resolve system and data issues with thorough root cause analysis and long-term fixes.
  • Lead internal process improvements and scalability efforts across the data stack.
  • Deliver actionable data products and insights for business-critical KPIs.

Performance Based Qualification

  • Built and maintained pipelines using orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or AWS Glue for seamless data ingestion and delivery.
  • Successfully designed systems supporting both batch and streaming data, enabling near real-time analytics and reporting.

Tools, Technologies & Platforms

  • Deep hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) and NoSQL solutions (e.g., MongoDB), optimizing performance and reliability.
  • Expertise in database tuning and optimization, improving data access speed and reducing resource usage.
  • Proficient in cloud-based infrastructure, particularly AWS services like EC2, S3, Glue, and EMR (Spark), for scalable data solutions.
  • Delivered performant data platforms using modern cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, and Databricks.
  • Automated deployments and improved delivery using version control and CI/CD pipelines, enhancing speed and reducing errors.
