  • You will work closely with teams across our business to understand their business problems/requirements and proactively design and champion solutions to deliver the required business value.
  • Support the maintenance of legacy reporting (SQL Server & SharePoint) and all activities attached to the migration of these reports onto the Looker platform.

  • Deep knowledge of databases and T-SQL or query-writing skills - SQL Server, MySQL, or similar.
  • Knowledge of query optimization and performance tuning.
  • Exposure to BI tools, such as Looker, Microsoft (SSIS, SSRS, SharePoint), Tableau, QlikView or Excel BI tools – PowerPivot/Power BI.
  • Demonstrable skills in understanding complex business problems and translating those to simple-to-use BI solutions or reports.
  • Understanding of what can be improved through better data and analysis.
  • An understanding of dimensional data models using methodology such as Kimball would be advantageous.

  • Excellent personal organisation & work-management skills – ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to apply business acumen to data-driven outputs to deliver value-added insights.
  • Ability to present clear and concise outputs articulating how data and analysis relate to Key Performance Indicators.
  • High level of dedication to see things through to completion, with high quality.
