Software Engineer - Full Stack, AVP

Purpose of the role

To build and maintain the systems that collect, store, process, and analyse data, such as data pipelines, data warehouses and data lakes to ensure that all data is accurate, accessible, and secure. 

Accountabilities

• Build and maintenance of data architectures pipelines that enable the transfer and processing of durable, complete and consistent data.
• Design and implementation of data warehoused and data lakes that manage the appropriate data volumes and velocity and adhere to the required security measures.
• Development of processing and analysis algorithms fit for the intended data complexity and volumes.
• Collaboration with data scientist to build and deploy machine learning models.

Barclays Services Corp. seeks Software Engineer - Full Stack, AVP in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions available):

1.           Build client-facing UI and back-end services using UI technology.

2.           Responsible for work on the UI page and visualization design, development and deployment and also integration of visualization dashboards from BI tools including Tableau/Qlik to web pages.

3.           Responsible for the integration of Analytic dashboards/objects to front-end using Angular.JS, React.JS, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.

4.           Build backend applications utilizing Python, Java, Golang, Node.JS, Kafka, Redis, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.

5.           Work on DevOps principle, version control, CI /CD, Veracode, SonarQube, JIRA and best engineering practice.

6.           Drive development from a sketch to a polished product

7.           Monitor and improve the frontend performance and conduct code, test and operate integrations.

8.           Work in a team developing applications and services using Agile development methods

9.           Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.

10.        May telecommute.
