About Investor Data Products & Analytics

State Street is executing an enterprise-wide (“One State Street”) Investor Data Products & Analytics strategy, expanding on the data products that we offer clients today within our Global Markets business and State Street Associates.


The team will develop and bring to market products from State Street data to create new value for State Street and its customers. This includes conducting research, ideating for new products, building requirements and roadmaps, working with the Commercial organization to successfully launch new data products, measuring their in-field performance against KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), and implementing improvement strategies and tactics. The business will procure and maintain appropriate data rights to ensure that we can be successful in our commercialization plans.



Your new role
 

As a Product Operations Analyst – Investor Data Products & Analytics, Senior Associate you will provide generalist infrastructure support for the Investor Data Products & Analytics which includes:

  • Providing ongoing direct and indirect customer support

  • Performing tasks related to client lifecycle management (including functions related to onboarding, contracting, coordination with COEs such as Legal, AML/KYC and Billing COE)

  • Performing certain management reporting and other administrative functions for the business unit

  • supporting functions related to Data Rights

  • serving as an SME on products

  • interpreting complex policies, regulatory and contractual documents and responding to related inquiries

  • Working closely with business units: legal, risk and compliance teams to maintain risk excellence and sound controls

  • Performing product related operational functions

  • Proposing refinements to existing procedures, updating procedure documentation and creating new procedures, as required

  • Executing data management and reporting responsibilities quickly, accurately and reliably

  • Developing ability to drive progress in cross functional progress

What we value

Required experience and qualifications:

  • University Degree (completion of first-cycle studies)

  • At least 3-5 years of related experience in financial services, client operations or business data analysis

  • Client-facing experience required

  • Solid understanding of financial services industry and investment manager businesses

  • Solid understanding of the risk environment, compliance requirements, and ability to devise and/or carry out risk controls and mitigating processes as directed/required

  • A customer orientation with the ability to interact comfortably with all levels of the organization

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Sharepoint is required

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce, Nintex Forms/Workflows, SQL, Toad/Oracle, Microsoft PowerBI/Tableau or other data visualization tools is a plus

  • Experience with complex, deadline driven projects

  • Highly self-motivated in application of analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Fluent command of English language

  • Interest and ability to develop in-depth understanding and proficiency with all Investor Data product and service offerings

  • A team-player with excellent written and verbal communication skills and well-organized with strong project management skills and attention to details

  • Proactive approach to problem solving and ability to adapt to shifting priorities, meet deadlines and execute in a fast-paced environment
