The Opportunity

You will contribute to improving HSE performance, supporting the organization to deliver a high-performing culture through clear line management accountability and a competent organization in the European HUB of Grid & Power Quality Solutions Business. You will report to the HUB HSE Manager and will support the team by applying your foundational HSE knowledge to provide solutions and advice to address a variety of challenges.

How you will make an impact:

  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, analyze, and visualize HSE performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor HSE KPIs, track progress towards goals, and report performance deviations to management.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare comprehensive HSE performance reports that meet compliance standards for internal stakeholders.
  • Training and Development: Coordinate with stakeholders to collect and analyze data, educate on data-driven HSE decisions, and guide the use of digital tools. 
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Integrate HSE data into business processes, engage stakeholders for HSE commitment, and support sustainability initiatives with data-driven insights.

Your background:

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) and basic programming skills (e.g., Python, R) for data manipulation and visualization.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively report findings and insights.
  • Attention to Detail and Problem-Solving: Keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in data collection and analysis, and ability to identify issues and propose practical solutions based on data.
  • Experience: Internships, co-op programs, academic projects related to HSE or data analytics, and any industry exposure through part-time jobs or volunteer work.
