Job Title: Data Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Impact & contribution:

Reduce the deployment time of model by utilising advance tools and technology. In this role you’ll assist execution of strategic initiatives to improve team effectiveness and performance.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• 4+ years’ experience in IT industry strong data-warehouse and ETL - Ab Initio background, along with hands on technical & lead skills required.
• Expertise Knowledge on python programming
• Excellent grasp on all Components of Ab Initio - GDE and usage of Conduct>IT (Plans) OR any other ETL Tools
• Good experience in various Ab-initio parallelism techniques.
• Knowledge on Ab Initio AIR commands and m commands and unix shell scripting.
• Knowledge of any database such Oracle, Teradata, etc.
• Must have knowledge on data warehousing concepts, knowledge on data modelling.
• Drive the architecture of a project, including authoring functional and design specifications, scalability, testing, quality data flow, and interface.
• Ability to lead and manage team and interact with end users clients. Worked in Onsite/ Offshore model.
• Proficient in creating documentation related to design documents, Unit testing, handover and walk-through documents.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and leadership skills along with excellent oral, presentation and written communication skills.
• Desire to take ownership and run the show end to end. Comfortable working with remote teams.
• Credit Risk domain is desirable

Essential Skills:

• Working experience in Ab Initio BRE Business Rule Environment or ACE Application Configuration Environment is desirable.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, Jira and Confluence highly desirable.
• DevOps framework setup/execution activity.
• Demonstrate initiative by identifying inefficiencies and able to recommend improvements.

Education Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
