Job Description

Responsibilities  

1. AI & Emerging Technology Exploration:

• Research and experiment with AI-driven solutions, including LLMs, machine learning models, and automation tools, to enhance lodging systems.
• Develop proof-of-concept (PoC) projects to evaluate the feasibility of AI-powered applications in hotel operations, such as automated guest support, intelligent booking systems, and predictive maintenance.
• Identify opportunities for AI-driven process optimization, including chatbot implementation, sentiment analysis for guest feedback, and operational automation.
• Stay updated on trends in AI, cloud computing, and hospitality technology to recommend new innovations.

2. IT Solutioning & Digital Transformation:

• Assist in defining and refining AI-driven workflows and digital transformation strategies for lodging systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for AI and automation projects.
• Conduct research on AI-powered tools and platforms, assessing their cost, quality, and compatibility with our infrastructure.

3. Support IT Project Managers in AI Integration:

• Assist in managing AI-related projects, ensuring smooth implementation and alignment with business goals.
• Liaise with vendors, developers, and internal teams to integrate AI and automation into existing systems.
• Contribute to data analysis efforts, using AI models to generate insights for decision-making.

4. AI-Driven System Assessments & Optimization:

• Assess current lodging systems and operations to identify areas where AI can improve efficiency and productivity.
• Assist in testing and deploying AI solutions, ensuring smooth adoption within the business.
• Participate in user testing sessions for AI-powered applications to ensure usability and effectiveness.

Requirements 

• Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of AI concepts, including Large Language Models (LLMs), machine learning, and automation.
• Proficiency in Python, AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Azure AI, Google AI), and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with an eagerness to experiment with new AI technologies.
• Good understanding of UI/UX principles, as applied to AI-driven applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to translate technical AI concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Passion for innovation in hospitality technology and a keen interest in how AI can transform the lodging industry.
