Collaboration

  • Work with product, analytics and strategy team members to ensure technical solutions align with iwoca’s overall fraud strategy.

  • Collaborate with engineers within other parts of iwoca, such as our Operations, Customer Funnel, and Credit Risk teams, to drive fraud tech changes forwards.

Growth and progression

  • Progress to becoming the team’s technical lead within 6-9 months.

Essential:

  • Back-end development experience, ideally with Python.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.

Bonus:

  • React framework experience.

  • A strong numerical academic background, i.e. maths, physics, computer science, engineering, or similar.

  • An understanding of data analysis and statistics.

The salary

We expect to pay from £60,000 - £70,000 for this role. But, we’re open-minded, so definitely include your salary goals with your application. We routinely benchmark salaries against market rates, and run quarterly performance and salary reviews.
