Requirements and responsibilities

This role will primarily be working on the BI Future project at Benenden Health, creating golden semantic models and a centralised reporting catalogue to replace the large number of existing internal reports.
 
What you'll do

• Working with the Business Intelligence Architect, this role will deliver key elements of the BI Future project;
  
• Design and develop golden semantic models based on business requirements, including managing dimensions, relationships, hierarchies and calculated measures;
  
• Develop and deploy PowerBI reports based on business requirements, ensuring these are data rich and user friendly;
  
• Implement best practices for semantic model and report design;
  
• Conduct thorough testing of reports to ensure accuracy and functionality.

What you'll bring

• PowerBI – strong proficiency and experience in developing reports and dashboards for a variety of business users;
  
• Semantic models – strong experience of creating large semantic models to feed reporting, including dimensions, relationships, hierarchies and calculated measures;
  
• Good knowledge of SQL and DAX;
  
• Testing – experience of testing reports / models against raw data to ensure accuracy;
  
• An understanding of the Microsoft Fabric and PowerBI service, and report deployment;
  
• Experience of working on a similar project would be advantageous but is not necessary;
