What will you be doing?

The Sr MGR, Data Management role is a trusted business partner who is regarded as a data and insights expert, able to draw actionable insights and conclusions to help drive Circana’s clients’ business performance.   The Analyst understands how to use and interpret the various Circana data sources and leverage existing modelling solutions to address clients’ business challenges and market opportunities (i.e. trade marketing, pricing and promotions, mix modeling).  The Analyst develops and maintains a deep understanding of Circana data, understands clients’ businesses, and demonstrates a knowledge of new and emerging analytic solutions (both Circana and industry). 

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall day-to-day execution of operational processes that deliver updated market data into IRI’s suite of Omnichannel Consumer and Market Measurement solutions in the US.
  • Ensure appropriate resources are available throughout the production cycle to operate the process, troubleshoot the system if failures occur, and adjust as needed to meet stated business objectives.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve standard operational processes in support of delivering updated market data to end customer solutions.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve quality control systems to ensure the quality of the data in the end solutions meets customer expectations within the scope of the product requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve systems and processes that collect, plan, schedule, and execute ad hoc data processing requests to meet customer and business requirements.
  • Ensure the operating process has appropriate and effective performance measurements aligned with customer needs and overall business objectives.
  • Collect, analyze, and present process performance information as well as recommendations for improvement in operational processes and/or technical automaton processes.

 

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree required in Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or business related quantitative field.  An advanced degree in a quantitative or analytic discipline is preferred. 
  • Up to 4 years of experience in solving business issues with analytics, leveraging data in a research or consultative setting, or applicable Master’s degree preferred. 
  •  Advanced Analytics:
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into insights. 
  • A technical foundation that includes a conceptual understanding of statistical modeling techniques (experience with programing languages such as R, Python, SAS, SQL a plus). 
  • Enthusiasm for data mining, working with large datasets.

  • Other: 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, etc.). 
  • Familiarity with Consumer Packaged Goods and/or General Merchandise industries.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $47K to $82K.  

This job is also eligible for [bonus/incentive/commissions/equity] pay.  We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
