Supplier Quality Tools & Data Specialist

As a member of the GLOBAL SUPPLIER QUALITY MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION, you will contribute significantly in designing, improving and implementing the core processes of Supplier Quality Management in Plastic Omnium Lighting Division (PO Lighting). Furthermore, you are responsible for the quality performance and the continuous improvement of all the Suppliers InBOM, tooling and specific machines within your assigned perimeter.

You will also have to comply with defined health and safety regulations, as for internal and legal regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for the strict application of internal procedures and of Supplier Quality Manual, internally and with suppliers
• Support the maintaining and updating of internal procedures and tools
• Foster the partnership between Supplier Quality Management and all other functions within PO Lighting
• Support of the quality management strategy for the suppliers in the area of electronic components
• Support and, in part, implementation of the technical approval of the suppliers
• Components & life cycle management in ERP/SAP system (release, blocking, change management)
• Supplier evaluation and support of the consolidation of global SQ data
• Collaboration in the optimization of KPIs in supplier quality management
• Reduction of supplier and component complexity
• Development and release of technical documentation (test reports, PPAPs, RoHS reports etc.)
• Contribute to the data collection, conduct data analysis and provide synthesis to support Supplier Quality reporting (e.g., release status, PPAP status)
• Create reporting on BOM status for component release status in specific programs
• Follow-up of status/documents expiry date (IATF certification, Deviations/Interim PPAP…)
• Manage component changes (PCN) and component discontinuations (PTN)
• Optimize routines, reporting dashboards and automatizations for enhanced data system efficiency

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality or comparable education level
• At least 3 years of experience in the field of Supplier Quality Management, preferably in electronics industry
• Strong experience in the area of electronic component management
• Knowledge about IATF 16949 
• Skills on problem solving and logical thinking skills 
• Strong communication skills to build bridges between different functional areas 

• Willing to constructively challenge existing setups and standards
• Excellent knowledge in SAP, ERP and other PLM relevant tools

• Languages: English (business fluent)
• Good knowledge in MS Office tools
• Willingness to travel regionally (PO Lighting locations)
