About the Role

Our ideal candidate is passionate about helping leaders use data to develop a 360-degree view of their organization. The right individual will have a problem-solving mindset and will use his/her analytic and artistic capabilities to create dynamic visualizations.

You will be creating and adapting visualization tools that bring together various data sources. Examples include:

• Student information, including assessments, attendance, enrollment, mobility, grades, special populations, etc.

• Finance/HR information, including budget monitoring, hiring and vacancies, educator licensure, etc.

• Our tools are built to intentionally address the challenges that public-sector and non-profit leaders face on a daily, monthly, and annual basis.

Requirements

What you Bring

• Skilled in creating data visualizations using business intelligence software, ideally with experience in Power BI (strongly preferred) and/or significant experience with Tableau

• At least three years of experience in a role focused on data analysis including SQL/relational databases; three or more years preferred

• Experience working with data sets in various conditions/formats and which require building relationships across disparate files to create a comprehensive data model

• Skilled in cleaning, standardizing, filtering, and transforming data to create datasets ready to be analyzed and displayed graphically

• Understands what makes for a compelling visualization, can “tell a story” using data, and can draw insights from large datasets
