Overview

The Tyndale Company, an 8x Top Workplace winner in PA and certified woman-owned business, is seeking a strategic Data Manager to lead our data engineering, ETL, and business reporting efforts. This role will oversee a team of Database Architects, Developers, Automation Engineers, and Business Data Engineers to build and maintain scalable data infrastructure that powers decision-making across our e-commerce, ERP, accounting, and logistics operations.

 

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, deep expertise in data architecture and ETL, and the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights across finance, operations, supply chain, and e-commerce.

 

HYBRID/REMOTE: Tyndale supports a strong work-life balance. This opportunity requires onsite work a minimum of 2 days per week, and 3 days per week remotely. To be considered, candidates must reside within a commutable distance from our corporate headquarters in Pipersville, PA (Bucks County).

Responsibilities

  • Design and manage scalable ETL workflows to integrate data across e-commerce, ERP, accounting, and logistics systems.
  • Optimize data pipelines for both real-time and batch processing to support operational and analytical needs.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and security through robust validation and governance practices.
  • Develop and maintain data models aligned with core business functions such as sales, inventory, finance, and supply chain.
  • Lead the development of BI and reporting solutions that deliver accurate, actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Define and track KPIs that support performance measurement across sales, finance, inventory, and logistics.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify trends, uncover insights, and drive data-informed decisions.
  • Manage and mentor a cross-functional team of data professionals, fostering innovation and collaboration.
  • Partner with executive leadership to shape and execute data strategy in support of business growth.
  • Lead initiatives focused on data integration, automation, predictive analytics, and process improvement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data management, data engineering, or business intelligence leadership.
  • Proficiency in ETL design and optimization, particularly across e-commerce, ERP, accounting, and logistics systems.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, including data architecture, modeling, and performance tuning.
  • Solid understanding of business processes across finance, supply chain, e-commerce, and operations.
  • Skilled in SQL and cloud-based data platforms; experience with Amazon QuickSight and Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell), API integrations, and predictive analytics/AI-driven BI preferred.
