You will help accelerate our product development by providing engineering teams with actionable inputs teased out from large amounts of driving data, and help build the safest and most reliable autonomous driving software.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead a high-performing team of subject matter experts in autonomous driving software triage and root cause analysis, driving timely identification and resolution of critical issues
  • Manage and scale a team of offshore resources, optimizing coverage for autonomous vehicle driving behavior analysis and ensuring seamless collaboration across geographies
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional Engineering teams across the entire AI stack—including Motion Planning, Perception, Prediction, Localization, and more—to refine and improve processes for data analysis initiatives
  • Drive the development of advanced tools and automation to expand triage capabilities, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of both onsite and offshore team members
  • Partner with Engineering leadership to define, prioritize, and execute a strategic roadmap for the Syatem Behavioral Analysis team, ensuring alignment with company milestones and long-term objectives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field, coupled with 3+ years of experience managing and leading teams
  • Proven expertise in root cause analysis within complex hardware and software systems, delivering actionable insights and driving resolution
  • Hands-on experience in test planning, scheduling, execution, and release management
  • Proficiency with dashboarding tools such as Looker, with the ability to effectively analyze data and leverage insights to drive informed decision-making
  • Exceptional cross-functional communication and collaboration skills, with a strong bias for action

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience with autonomous driving or other data-heavy products or applications
  • Experience working with ML models to automate triage processes
