Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Technology Business Systems Consultant to partner with lines of business aligned to Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) to help drive internal Generative AI and "Classical" AI initiatives through the complete project lifecycle from ideation to production deployment.

In this role, you will:

  • Be a key point-of-contact for guiding teams through Wells Fargo's comprehensive design, development and governance processes supporting Generative AI and "Classical AI" offerings.

  • Lead complex and unique initiatives to provide technological solutions with broad impact for cross functional businesses and technology teams

  • Act as an advisory to senior leadership, with strategic business solutions to companywide technology initiatives

  • Evaluate highly complex business problems and provide subject matter knowledge proficiency for technology initiatives

  • Understand and ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives

  • Make decisions regularly for highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of domain and technology applications, and which influence companywide technology solutions

  • Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to provide comprehensive technological solutions for highly complex business problems

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to individuals at all levels and provide advice to senior leadership on highly complex and strategic issues

  • Ensure communication and information flow between business and technology teams


Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Business Systems Data and Business Systems Designing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Generative AI and "Classical" AI technologies sufficient to guide teams toward the right resources and processes.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to proactively navigate complex and/or ambiguous work efforts and move with urgency.

  • Demonstrated ability to create strong, positive relationships with stakeholders across various functional areas.

  • Ability to rigorously engage in discussions on risk (including model risk), legal concerns and compliance issues.

Compensation for this role in Melo Park CA is between $138,500 to $287,600 depending on skills and expertise.

Compensation for this role in Charlotte NC is between $120,400.00 $250,000 depending on skills and expertise.

There is no Visa Sponsorship Available for this role.

Wells Fargo has a Hybrid work schedule that is 3 days in the office and 2 days allowed to work from home.

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$120,400.00 - $287,600.00
