Master Data Quality & Analytics Manager

 

In the current context of fast evolving digitization of business processes and growing usage of Artificial Intelligence, our data sets need to be consistent and of good quality.

Therefore, it is key to strengthen and expand the coverage of our data governance and quality capabilities (standards, data quality operations & continuous improvement, data flow & business process standardization).

The role described herein provides the opportunity to play a key role in this journey. You will be able to make a real impact on our operations by ensuring efficient, flexible, and compliant creation and use of our master data and analytics in Supply and across other functions!

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

As our Master Data Quality & Analytics Manager in our team, you will support the expansion of our data quality and governance capabilities across Supply and other key functions. Your work will participate in enhancing the efficient, flexible, and compliant use of master data for digital use cases.

 

Your main responsibilities:

 

  • Lead major data interventions assigned: collaborate with stakeholders to perform immediate data fixes, conduct root cause analysis, identify long-term solutions, establish and drive cross functional action plans
  • Use continuous improvement methods to resolve key data issues permanently.
  • Develop and run data quality analysis & reports with tools available, across large datasets.
  • Deliver business-oriented data products, reports and dashboards using diverse data sources and systems.
  • Map & match data concepts from different areas or external data sources to enable or perform cross functional analysis
  • Adhere to data governance and IT standards when performing data interventions or creating reports and dashboards
  • The data quality & analytics manager is not expected to have direct reports.
  • However, he may assist outside his scope to add cross-functional value, mobilizing teams and stakeholders towards common goals

The team consists of 10 experienced data professionals with strong background or experience in business operations, and you will work closely together with several departments such as Quality, Manufacturing, Planning, Regulatory or Product development (not limited list). You will not only address complex data challenges, but also learn our core business processes and help our stakeholders to be more efficient & focused on their core activities. All your colleagues are open-minded, open to learn new areas, solve complex challenges while delivering strong results for the company. They are supportive, always available to help or provide guidance as needed.

 

 

 

 

YOU ARE A COTY FIT

 

You like to work with large data sets and are process and action oriented. As a Master Data Quality & Analytics Manager, you get energy working in a fast-paced, diverse and constantly changing international environment: you are resilient, able to manage and adjust multiple conflicting priorities simultaneously.

 

Other than that, your profile fits the below requirements:

  • Masters Degree or equivalent
  • 5 to 10 years of experience working on data, interacting with business functions
  • Comfortable with analyzing & playing with large data sets, from aggregate analysis to detailed deep dive / granular review of individual elements
  • Conceptual, logical and physical data modelling
  • Build complex programs for data processing (engineering & analysis (reporting) using SQL, Python & Databricks technologies
  • Proven experience in building PowerBI reports and dashboards fit for purpose and for the targeted audience (hiding technical complexity for stakeholders where necessary)
  • Understand and use base SAP transactions (SE16N, MM transactions, others) and understands interdependencies b/w modules.
  • Background and knowledge / experience in AI models & implementation is a significant added value as data use cases are rapidly expanding in this area
  • Good written and verbal communication: able to express complex ideas in a simple way and adjust communications to stakeholders and situations
  • Fluency in English language
