Job Description

To ensure effective movement, collection, integration, storage, and provisioning of data to meet business objectives through sound understanding of business unit requirements and frequent collaboration with relevant stakeholders (such as Enterprise Architecture, Database and Solution Architects, Business Intelligence Developers, Data Scientists and Product Owners, etc.)

• Collaborate with business analysts and business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and understand business requirement.
• Translate business requirements into clear and actionable technical specifications for the implementation team.
• Work closely with developers to ensure proper implementation of analytical models, providing clarification and guidance as needed.
• Assist in the design and optimization of system architecture to support the efficient processing of analytical models.
• Conduct system testing and validation to ensure models are accurately implemented and meet business objectives.
• Facilitate communication between business and technical teams to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals and timelines.
• Identify potential risks, issues and mitigation strategies related to analytical model productionalisation and recommend solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in systems analysis and analytical model development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in systems analysis, preferably in the financial services or analytical modelling domain.
• 5 + Years of Experience as a Data Engineer
• Strong understanding of Java programming and development practices.
• Experience with data analysis and modelling techniques.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
