Workplace Arrangements:

This role will follow a fully remote schedule. Applicants for this role can expect to work from home 5 days a week. Occasional overnight travel to our Ottawa Home Office can be expected 3-5 times annually.

What You'll be Doing:

  • Adhere to data governance frameworks, conduct regular audits & bi-annual compliance reviews, while ensuring  data security.

  • Maintain accurate HR dashboards, ensure seamless data flow across systems, and streamline reporting by eliminating redundancies.

  • Analyze workforce trends, forecast staffing needs, and track KPIs on productivity, diversity, and labor costs.

  • Identify workflow inefficiencies, monitor HRSS performance, and support automation initiatives like self-service HR portals and AI-driven analytics.

  • Analyze engagement data, provide retention and DEI insights, and measure the impact of HR policies and programs.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, HR, Business, Statistics, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in HR analytics, data analysis, or HRSS, preferably in a retail or large corporate environment.

  • 3-5 years Workday experience in creation of dashboards, advanced, matrix and composite report as well as advanced security experience

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.

  • Strong understanding of Canadian labor laws, payroll regulations, privacy acts (PIPEDA, PHIPA), and compliance best practices.

  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams.

Assets You May Have:

  • Familiarity with Python or R for data analytics is an asset.
