Job Summary:
The IT Data and Analytics Architecture and Engineering Manager will be accountable for supporting the strategic leadership of the company’s data and analytics program, including business intelligence. This role will report directly to the Director, IT Data & Analytics and provide hands-on expertise on cloud data warehousing, as well as guidance and mentoring to existing and new Data & Analytics team members. In addition, this role will work closely with senior business & technology leaders to help define and execute the vision, strategies, and goals for the Data & Analytics program. The role will be responsible to:
- Support efforts to move our Oracle ERP on-Prem to a cloud-based ERP.
- Work with functional users to understand business requirements and translate functional need into a working IT solution leveraging the Data Analytics and/or RPA tools available.
- Execute data-enabled strategies & enabling business outcomes through business intelligence & analytics
- Lead business intelligence integration activities to align KPI’s and master data with corporate reporting requirements.
- Help shape and execute against the Data & Analytics roadmap aligned with the business objectives
We are seeking a high energy, self-motivated, results-oriented leader, who is comfortable working in a global, team-oriented IT environment and has a proven success record to lead transformational initiatives using Data & Analytics.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Manage the expansion of Integer’s Data & Analytics Platform (Cloud Datawarehouse using Snowflake) which supports multiple business functions, providing hands-on experience with the utilization of Azure Data Factory (ADF), Snowflake and Microsoft Power BI to support 1000+ users.
- Provide data management expertise to internal clients in evaluating requirements and developing data architecture and BI solution design.
- Support the governance of data used for reporting / analysis; Help organize and lead a data and analytics governance council with representation of all business units & functions.
- Coach D&A development team in newer technologies and concepts
- Define and implement strategies, practices and technologies for the integration and staging of data, development and maintenance of data lakes, data warehouses and data marts, for use throughout the organization
- Participate in steering committees to review reporting project requests from functional teams.
- Define, manage, and ensure an adequate information trust model, controls for master data and metadata management.
- Expand the organization’s data and technology offerings, especially in emerging analytical approaches (robotic process automation, machine learning, artificial intelligence), focusing on digital innovation.
- Foster the creation of a data-driven culture, related competencies, and data literacy across the enterprise.
- Identify new types and sources of data to enable business innovation throughout the organization.
- Support efforts to move our Oracle ERP on-Prem to a cloud-based ERP.
- Act as right hand to the Director of Data Analytics in the elaboration and execution of AI strategy and policies.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, data science, information systems or business administration
- Experience in working effectively with business functional teams, remote development teams, and cloud hosted or SaaS vendors and partners
- Proven expertise for maximizing the value of enterprise information assets and of the analytics used to render insights for strategic and tactical business opportunities and decision making.
- 10+ years IT experience within a comparably sized or larger multi-national company, required
- 5-7 years’ experience establishing and/or leading a data analytics / business intelligence program, particularly in a manufacturing / operational setting
- Broad, applied experience in multiple competency areas of data and analytics delivery including Cloud data warehousing (Snowflake), data Ingestion (ETL/ELT tools), business intelligence (BI), data governance, data architecture, data integration, data classification, data strategy, data quality management, data security and privacy, MDM, data standards, regulatory compliance, and enterprise architecture frameworks
- Experience in vendor negotiation and management for software development and services
- Demonstrated ability in taking ownership and driving results
- Experience in working with C level executive business leaders to understand business models, strategies and priorities
- Experience in a regulatory setting is desirable
- Experience with Oracle products such as EBS (Oracle ERP), BICS / OACS is welcomed, but not mandatory
Knowledge & Skills:
- Ability to partner with other IT teams (architecture and security teams) to migrate reporting infrastructure to Integer’s data lake which utilizes Snowflake and Microsoft Power BI to deliver business intelligence solutions.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the following: data structures, information systems/tools, related software, data management, & enterprise content management
- Proven data literacy — The ability to describe business use cases/outcomes, data sources and management concepts, and analytical approaches/options. The ability to translate among the languages used by executive, business, IT and quant stakeholders.
- Excellent business acumen and interpersonal skills; able to work across business lines at a senior level to influence and effect change to achieve common goals.
- Information strategy experience — Experience in strategic technology planning and execution, and policy development and maintenance.
- Proven leadership capabilities in influencing and negotiating priorities and work sequencing
- Ability to lead preparation of and conduct Executive-level presentations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain digital concepts and technologies to business leaders, and business concepts to technologists
- Ability to effectively lead change and motivate cross-functional interdisciplinary teams to achieve tactical and strategic goals
- Ability to deliver consistently under deadlines and execute with minimal direction
- Excellent conceptual, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Periodic travel is required
