We are seeking a full-time Data Analyst III to join our Data & Insights team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for carrying out data analysis that demonstrates our company’s impact to clients and strategic partners in the care navigation space. You will support the development and execution of analytics, provide data-driven strategic insights, and create customized analytic approaches in a care navigation setting. This role supports Rightway’s management, operations, and other internal departments by developing and delivering complex analytical needs, including quarterly performance reviews and ad hoc client inquiries. Additionally, as a Data Analyst III, you will guide standards and implement coding and technical best practices in the analytics eco-system.
This position is an individual contributor role.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Develop comprehensive analytics focusing on engagement with Rightway’s application.
- Analyze and interpret eligibility, medical claims and member interaction data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in care navigation.
- Work cross-functionally with teams to provide actionable insights and refine and develop data processes for scalability.
- Use business intelligence and data visualization tools to enable data story-telling to internal stakeholders and external clients to evaluate the effectiveness of our clinical management programs and devise measures for assessing efficacy on a recurring basis.
- Contribute to the improvement of Rightway’s analytical infrastructure by implementing data preparation tools and automated reporting solutions.
- Participate in the development of analytic frameworks and methodologies to support strategic initiatives.
- Communicate complex data analysis results effectively to stakeholders and provide actionable recommendations.
- Provide ad hoc and strategic analysis to support care management and population health program performance evaluation and optimization.
- Work with the team to identify and qualify AI opportunities, understand key technical challenges and recommend strategies to operationalize solutions.
WHO YOU ARE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Expert level of proficiency with SQL and relational databases/database structures.
- Proficiency with scripting programming languages (python)
- Proven experience with version control.
- Understanding of SQL/python based data transformation and documentation platforms like DBT.
- Strong BI skills with experience in Tableau, Metabase or similar visualization tools.
- Experience working with data and analytics services within cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
- Strong understanding of medical claims data, including reviewing claims for accuracy to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in care navigation.
- 5-8 years of experience in quantitative analytics and conducting advanced analytic modeling for large datasets in the healthcare space.
- Experience gathering and documenting requirements from clients or the business.
- Ability to communicate analysis to business partners and clients both in writing and verbally.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of responsible AI practice.
- Experienced with developing memos, and presentations to deliver data and insights to stakeholders and the executive team.
- Proven ability to guide standards and provide leadership and mentorship to junior team
EXTRA CREDIT:
- Familiarity with healthcare data regulations (HIPAA) and best practices.
- Experience in data orchestration tools like Airflow..
- Understanding of machine learning and data science concepts.
- Understanding of the PBM industry and pharmacy claims is a plus.
SALARY: $90,000 - $140,000
