Machine Learning Intern

As a Machine Learning Intern you will have the opportunity to influence how we leverage cutting-edge AI systems and help shape the future of our Trust & Safety initiatives. You’ll tackle large-scale challenges in labeling and data processing while working with advanced language models and emerging ML research. You will gain invaluable industry experience and help elevate our mission of providing a safe and suitable digital advertising ecosystem..

This is a full-time, 10-week internship running from June 2 to August 8, 2025, and the pay is $40/hour. Applications are due by April 7, 2025

What you’ll get to do:

• Enhance annotation workflows to accommodate diverse data types and scenarios.
• Identify new strategies for optimizing resource usage to drive efficiency and cost savings.
• Explore advanced methods, including retrieval augmented generation systems and embedding models, to improve throughput and responsiveness.
• Apply predictive techniques and current AI research to streamline pipelines and minimize latency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold trust & safety standards while architecting agentic systems and vertical AI agents that scale.

You should apply if you have most of this experience: 

• Familiarity with large language models, retrieval augmented generation systems, and embedding techniques.
• Basic proficiency in a high-level programming language (e.g., Python, Bash, SQL).
• Strong interest in staying current with the latest ML/AI research and translating it into practical solutions.
• Enthusiasm for designing agentic systems and vertical AI agents to automate and scale processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for trust & safety initiatives.
