Opportunity:


Virtual Service Operations is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Facility Data Manager SME to oversee and optimize facility-related data management processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility across facility operations, maintenance, and asset management systems. This role will play a critical part in improving data-driven decision-making, compliance, and operational efficiency. 


The responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) in facility data management, providing guidance and best practices for data collection, storage, and analysis.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive data governance policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Oversee the implementation and management of facility management software (e.g., CMMS) to track assets, maintenance schedules, and space utilization.
  • Ensure data integrity by conducting audits, validating information, and implementing data quality control measures.
  • Collaborate with IT and facility teams to integrate data systems and improve reporting capabilities.
  • Analyze facility-related data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Train facility management teams on data entry protocols, reporting tools, and system best
    practices.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and data management advancements.
  • Develop and maintain proficiency in Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to ensure efficient data integration and transformation.
  • Utilize APIs to enhance data connectivity between systems and improve data accessibility.
  • Implement and oversee data governance strategies to ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
  • Establish and maintain data quality assurance protocols to ensure reporting accuracy and reliability.
  • Define, configure, update, and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to organizational requirements and strategic goals. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10 - 15 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with facility management software (e.g., CMMS) and data analytics tools
  • Proficiency in Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, APIs, data governance, and data quality assurance
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is preferred 

Requirements

  • Must be within driving distance of Houston, TX OR willing to relocate there
  • Must be willing to work onsite
  • Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U.S. citizenship status
  • New hires assigned on this project will be required to undergo and pass drug and alcohol tests per our client's contract requirements
  • Must be willing and able to undergo a government Public Trust (SF-85) background investigation
