Software Engineer 1

This role focuses on developing and sustaining integrated, feature-rich capabilities that modernize visualization and presentation tools. You like to do this:

• Develop and sustain integrated software capabilities for visualization and presentation tools.
• Provide application development and support for tools enabling collaborative information viewing and contribution.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions using Java and Python.
• Utilize frameworks like Spring Boot and Flask to build robust applications.
• Implement unit and integration testing to ensure software quality.
• Manage source code using Git and work with IDEs like IntelliJ or Eclipse.
• Optimize performance and efficiency of software solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.

You are required to have this:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or 8 years of software engineering experience.
• Seven (7) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Strong software development skills with Java and Python.
• Experience with testing frameworks for unit and integration testing.
• Proficiency in using source code control tools like Git.
• Familiarity with IDEs such as IntelliJ or Eclipse.
• Knowledge of frameworks like Spring Boot and Flask.
• Familiarity with Machine Learning, Stream and Batch processing, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS/HCI, Kafka, Flink, MongoDB, ArangoDB, Redis, and PostgreSQL.
• Full SDLC experience, including Requirements Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing, Implementation, and Maintenance.

Salary Range: $101,000 - $170,500
