About the role

As the IT&D Senior Analyst, Power BI you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering high-quality reports and dashboards using modern data visualization tools. You will be responsible for building analytical measures, developing user-friendly reports, and governing the reporting suite to ensure consistency and alignment across the organization. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a data-driven culture by turning complex datasets into actionable driving innovation and scalability to support Essential Home’s business strategy. Your responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI, to meet business requirements.
• Build advanced analytical measures, calculations, and KPIs to provide actionable insights and improve decision-making.
• Ensure the consistency, accuracy, and usability of reports by establishing and managing governance for the enterprise reporting suite.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across functions to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into effective visualization solutions.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of dashboards and reports, ensuring scalability and reliability for enterprise-wide use.
• Establish best practices for report design and data visualization, focusing on clarity, usability, and business impact.
• Govern access and usage policies for the reporting suite, ensuring alignment with data governance frameworks and security standards.
• Support training and upskilling initiatives to empower business users to effectively interact with and leverage the reporting suite.
• Partner with data engineers and analytics teams to ensure data sources are clean, consistent, and aligned with reporting needs.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and innovations in data visualization and analytics to continuously improve the reporting ecosystem.

The experience we're looking for

• You are experienced in building advanced calculations, measures, and KPIs to meet complex business requirements.
• You understand the importance of governance in managing reporting suites and are skilled in establishing and maintaining standards for consistency and quality.
• You have excellent problem-solving skills and can transform complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• You are detail-oriented and thrive in managing multiple projects with competing priorities.
• You bring strong communication skills, enabling you to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• You are familiar with data governance principles and understand how they apply to reporting and visualization.
• You have experience working with data warehouses, databases, and tools such as SQL, DAX for data manipulation and preparation.
• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Intelligence, or a related field; certifications in visualization tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst, Tableau Desktop Specialist) are a plus.
