Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field

• 6+ years of experience building large-scale backend applications using Java and Python

• Strong experience in system integrations and scalable service development

• Expertise with SQL and NoSQL databases like MongoDB and ElasticSearch

• Proficient with frameworks like Spring Boot, Flask, or Express

• Exposure to vector database technologies like Weaviate, Vespa, or OpenSearch is a plus

• Experience with NLP libraries (Spacy, Gensim, NLTK) or deep learning tools (Keras, PyTorch, TensorFlow)

• Ability to write clean, modular, and well-documented code

• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift

• Comfortable working with Agile methodologies and Git for version control

• Based in Mumbai or has Mumbai as hometown (Work from office role)

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs

• Integrate various internal and third-party systems and tools

• Work closely with frontend, product, and AI teams to deliver features end-to-end

• Optimize data storage, retrieval, and search across large datasets

• Manage and scale SQL/NoSQL databases for high availability and performance

• Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture planning

• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of backend services

• Participate in mentoring and recruiting efforts within the engineering team
