The Opportunity

Transgrid is currently recruiting for Senior Data Governance Analyst to join our growing team. The role reports into our Data Governance Manager based in our Ultimo office. In your new role you will be key in ensuring Transgrid’s data assets are protected, classified and managed to meet business and regulatory objectives. This role is also responsible for implementing and maintaining the Data Governance Framework and will lead the delivery of comprehensive data governance across Transgrid.  

About you 

• 7+ years of experience in data governance or data management role. 

• Tertiary qualifications at degree level in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent experience. 

• Working knowledge ISO/IEC 38505 and with security and compliance standards, such as AESCSF, ISO 27001 and GDPR. 

• DAMA certification would be highly desirable.  

• Developed business acumen and presentation skills.  

• Engage, communicate and negotiate confidently using verbal, written and presentation skills, explaining complex technical matters in a way that a broad range of stakeholders can easily understand.
