Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and skilled AI/ML Engineer to join our team, focusing on cutting-edge solutions in GenAI, vector search, embeddings, and semantic similarity. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize intelligent search systems that leverage state-of-the-art machine learning and deep learning techniques. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable and efficient solutions that transform how we retrieve and process information. 

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and implement AI/GenAI models and algorithms using Python programming language, jointly with knowledge about PyTorch/Tensorflow, Pandas, sklearn and similar AI/GenAI libraries. 

• Implement advanced vector-based search algorithms using frameworks like FAISS, Milvus, Weaviate, or Pinecone to enable high-performance retrieval systems. 

• Utilize ML fundamentals to solve real-world problems. This includes deep learning, optimization techniques, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLMs), or Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG). 

• Work closely with data scientists and engineers to gather requirements, perform data analysis, and develop end-to-end ML pipelines. 

• Conduct experiments and perform model evaluation to ensure the robustness, scalability, and accuracy of AI/GenAI solutions. 

• Optimize and fine-tune AI/GenAI models for performance and efficiency. 

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field. 

• 2+ years of professional experience in AI/ML development, with a focus on NLP and vector search. 

• Strong proficiency in Python programming language. 

• In-depth knowledge of ML fundamentals, including deep learning, optimization techniques, generative AI, NLP, LLMs and RAG 

• Strong understanding of natural language processing, embeddings, and transformer-based models (e.g., BERT, RoBERTa, GPT). 

• Proficiency in tools like FAISS, Milvus, Pinecone, or other ANN libraries. 

• Experience with cloud computing platforms (knowledge of Azure is a plus). 

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

• Strong communication and collaboration skills. 

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
