Location: Remote (Team based in Rochester, MN)Employment Type: Full-Time Consultant

 

Are you ready to build software that directly impacts patients’ lives? Trissential is partnering with a leading cardiovascular surgery team to develop a brand-new application that guides patients through every step of their surgical journey—from prep to recovery. We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong front-end chops (React) and solid backend skills in C#/.NET to bring this project to life.

Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Design and develop intuitive, user-centered front-end experiences using React
  • Build and maintain resilient, scalable backend services using C# and .NET
  • Collaborate with data engineers and cloud architects to integrate backend systems with large-scale data solutions
  • Participate in the entire SDLC – from architecture to CI/CD to post-deployment monitoring
  • Lead complex problem-solving and root cause analysis for performance and reliability issues
  • Support DevOps, Agile, and continuous development/integration workflows
  • Act as a mentor and technical resource to junior developers and cross-functional teammates

Skills & Experience You Should Possess

  • 5+ years of full stack development experience with a focus on React and C#/.NET
  • Strong grasp of modern front-end design principles and responsive UI development
  • Experience building and scaling distributed systems or cloud-native applications
  • Proficiency with databases, RESTful APIs, and secure backend architectures
  • Experience in Agile teams and familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience in healthcare or building HIPAA-compliant software
  • Comfort with Go, Python, or Java for backend services
  • Knowledge of machine learning, big data platforms, or business intelligence tools

Education & Certifications You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or Associate’s with 7+ years experience)
  • Master’s degree is a plus
