HIRING DEPARTMENT:
Mechanical Engineering
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Research Assistant will assist the Research Supervisor and investigate neural-network-based architectures for the prediction of unsteady flow over automotive vehicles.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze key factors influencing the optimization of training sample sets.
Research output sensitivity to training data during the learning process by monitoring stochastic gradient descent and identifying key parameters in the linear regression model.
Oversee weights and biases within the learning model to assess the impact of specific design structures on outcomes.
Utilize open-source neural network frameworks, primarily TensorFlow and PyTorch.
Develop and train neural network models using Stellantis data with TensorFlow and PyTorch.
Employ the frameworks to predict untrained data points.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in neural-network-based architecture
Familiar with Stellantis
Familiar with machine learning methods and techniques for data analysis
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
